Downfalling Frustration

Today's 'Nepal Banda' organized by 30 opposition party seems nothing revolutionary rather than the reflection of  their frustration.  There is no doubt that it will be anti-productive  and gear up their downfall in political sphere. Ultimately governing parties will be benefited against whom the 'Banda' is organized.

All should agree that freedom of expression and right to protest are the ornament of democracy. Thus, all are free to organize this sort of strike. But being responsible towards the smooth run of the country's economy and welfare of the people, the culture of 'Banda' should  be abolished.

The recent comeback of Nepali Congress and C.P.N. U.M.L. in second Constituent  Assembly (C.A.) overcoming the defeat of the first C.A. is due to the provisions they have set in their manifestoes like 'No to banda for ever' and 'federation with multi-identity'.  The former strikes organized by the opposition parties are also mostly seen to be failed.

So realizing these facts the opposition should go through the productive way of talks and consensus. Reaching to an agreement to the extent of possibilities, they must play a vital positive role to construct appropriate Constitution.

The opposition parties must think that they are there to support the right deeds and oppose the wrong doing of governing parties. The rooted culture of opposition to only labour for the failure of government must be changed to advisory and supportive role. The rigid domination and ignoring nature of governing parties towards opposition also needs change to attentions and addressing as it is possible. Finally this turns to benefit themselves and benefits the country as a whole.
